茶树油 (Tea tree oil) 是传统的预防和治疗感染用药。一些研究证明茶树油作为外用药在治疗真菌感染 (包括甲真菌病和足癣)、痤疮和阴道感染方面有效。但仍需要做进一步研究证实其疗效的可靠性。据报道口服茶树油可能产生副作用，因此应慎用。作为外用时，茶树油具有轻度刺激性，这可能会限制部分病人的使用。
